Dr. David Kessler is board certified and is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. David Kessler was awarded the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Professional Volunteer of the Year. Dr. David Kessler treats patients of all ages. His special interests include psoriasis, eczema and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. Dr. David Kessler’s philosophy follows that of Dr. Francis Peabody, “for the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient”.

Todd R. Coven, M.D., FAAD-FACMS

After graduating from Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Coven completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a Dermatology Research Fellowship at Rockefeller University in New York City. He completed his Dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Coven was trained in Mohs surgery by an American College of Mohs Surgery sponsored fellowship under Dr. Deborah Sarnoff, affiliated with New York University School of Medicine.

Martin Kessler, M.D., FACS

Dr. Martin Kessler has been practicing cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery for the past 38 years. He graduated from Cornell University in 1980, and soon after in 1993, he was named Chief of Plastic surgery at Mt. Sinai-South Nassau Hospital until his retirement in 2021. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Weil Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, and has been listed as a New York's Top Doctor for the past 23 years. Dr. Martin Kessler is delighted to join the team at Massapequa Dermatology in order to tend to plastic surgery cases that may arise.

Kimberly Cossaro, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Kimberly Cossaro, PA-C, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. Kimberly graduated St. Johns University, Magna cum laude in 2003. She is an adjunct professor of Dermatology and clinical preceptor at Hofstra University,Stony Brook University and Pace University Physician Assistant programs. She has specialized training in advanced surgical closures including skin flaps and grafts.

She is the former President of the New York State Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (NYSSDPA) and a current member of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Kimberly specializes in general and surgical dermatology with a special interest in skin cancers.

Kaleigh Marino, PA-C

Kaleigh Marino, PA, graduated cum laude from Touro College in Bay Shore with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. She has been specializing in dermatology ever since she was board certified by the NCCPA in 2009. Kaleigh is a board member of the New York Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants(NYSSDPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Her special interests include acne, psoriasis, and cosmetics. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages.

Frank Rotolo

Frank Rotolo graduated cum laude from Hofstra University's Maurice a Dean School of Law with a Masters Degree in Healthcare Law and Policy, with an Undergraduate degree from LIU post, focused in sociology and public relations. Frank has a background in hospitality since his late teens and has a passion for helping people and taking care of others as he would for his loved ones.

Erica Ramirez

Erica graduated from the New York Institute of Beauty in 2019 with a license in esthetics. Since graduating, she has worked in various areas of the field including waxing, facials, chemical peels, lash lifts and microdermabrasion. In our practice she will be specializing in microneedling, chemical peels, and the variety of facials that we offer.
